Are you ready to go the extra mile? Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 12, and experience the excitement of the Highlands College Birmingham Marathon at Black Creek Park in Fultondale, AL.

The Highlands College Birmingham Marathon is a community event for the whole family! Runners from every walk of life are invited to run this challenging and fun race on a shaded, refreshing wooded trail on the Five Mile Creek Greenway, just outside of Birmingham, AL.

The Pricing

Pricing for the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K will increase after March 31, 2025.

The Course

Beautiful trees and a creek take runners along a memorable route on one of Alabama's historic Rails to Trails courses. The course includes stunning natural beauty as the course winds through shaded, wooded trails on the Five Mile Creek Greenway.

Yes! Packet Pickup will start at 5:30 AM on race day.

Expo – April 11

Visitor parking at Highlands College is conveniently located near the main entrance. Simply follow the signs directing you to the visitor parking area in the parking deck. From there, follow the signage to the recreation center on campus, where the expo will be held.

Race Day – April 12

Parking will be available in the lot near the park and the nearby ballpark. Our team will be on hand to help guide you to a spot!
