  • Half Marathon: 7:00 a.m.
  • 10K: 7:15 a.m.
  • 5K: 7:15 a.m.

All runners are encouraged to arrive at least one hour prior to their race start.

Yes. The Half Marathon has a 4-hour course time limit (approximately 18-minute mile pace). This ensures road safety and volunteer coverage.

The 5K welcomes both runners and walkers. The 10K is open to runners and experienced walkers.

The course features scenic greenway stretches and paved running paths.

On-site parking at Black Creek Park is limited.

We strongly encourage all runners and spectators to utilize the complimentary shuttle service from:

Shuttles will run continuously every 10 minutes beginning at 5:30 a.m.

This will be the smoothest and most reliable way to access the race.

Black Creek Park

We strongly encourage runners to pick up their packet on Friday to avoid race morning delays.

Yes. Awards will be given to:

  • Top Overall 3 Male & 3 Female for each race (Half Marathon, 10K, 5K)
  • Top 3 Male & 3 Female finishers by age group
    • 14 and under (5K only)
    • 15-19 (5K only)
    • 19 & under
    • 20-29
    • 30-39
    • 40-49
    • 50+

The awards ceremony will begin at approximately 8:15 a.m for 5K and 10K and 9:30 a.m for Half Marathon, near the main stage.

Participants must be present to receive awards.

The finish line experience includes:

  • Finisher medals
  • Post-race snacks and hydration
  • Music and emcee celebration
  • Vendor area
  • Photo opportunities

We encourage runners and families to stay and enjoy the atmosphere.

All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The race will take place rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, updates will be communicated via email and social media.

For safety reasons:

  • Strollers are permitted in the 5K only and must start at the back.
  • Pets are not permitted on the course.

Headphones are permitted, but runners must remain alert and aware of their surroundings at all times.

Hotel accommodations are not provided. The race location is conveniently situated near hotels, dining, and shopping throughout the Birmingham area.
