The registration cost includes one runner's race-day materials (packet, bib, shirt, medal, and free live tracking and progress alerts through RaceJoy on Race Day).

Packet pick-up will take place at the Expo, from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10 at Highlands College.

For those unable to pick up their packet at Expo, same-day packet pick-up opens at 5:30 a.m on race day. Runners are encouraged to arrive one hour prior to their race.

We encourage out-of-town guests to arrive by Friday, allowing for time to attend Expo, pick up your packet, and check into accommodations you may have booked.

For Race Day, Saturday, April 11, runners are encouraged to arrive one hour prior to their race. Packet pick-up opens at 5:30 a.m.

Expo - April 10 (Friday)
Visitor parking is available in the parking garage at 3660 Grandview Pkwy, Birmingham, AL 35243. Signage will direct you to the Forum on campus, where the expo will be held.

Race Day – April 11 (Saturday)
Parking is available at Black Creek Park, 749 Yarbrough Rd, Fultondale, AL 35068.

The Half Marathon begins at 7:00 a.m and the 10K and 5K begins at 7:15 a.m. Runners are encouraged to arrive one hour prior to their race.

We welcome the community to gather in support of our runners. Restrooms and concessions will be available for families and friends who attend. All guests will park in the same area, located at Black Creek Park, 749 Yarbrough Rd, Fultondale, AL 35068. Maps will be provided closer to race day.

Yes, the Birmingham Marathon (also known as the Highlands College Birmingham Marathon) took place in Fultondale, AL, at Black Creek Park in 2025. This year, the Highlands College Half Marathon offers only a half, 10K, and 5K for our running community. A marathon is not offered this year.

All registration costs for the Highlands College Half Marathon are non-refundable. By registering for the event, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds will be issued for cancellations or no-shows.

As a half-day event from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. CST, hotel accommodations for the Half-Marathon are not provided.\n For guests who would like an extended stay in Birmingham, the race is conveniently located near hotels, dining, shopping, outdoor activities, and more.
